Three strong labels from a single source

The Sales & Marketing teams have joined forces: since the start of the year, sales at the exhibition locations of Basel and Zurich for “Messe Basel”, “Messe Zürich” and the “Congress Center Basel” have been handled by a single source.

At the start of 2020, the MCH Group took the decision to boost its sales and marketing activities for the exhibition halls in Basel and Zurich and to bundle the forces on a centralised basis. Marketing for the “Messe Basel”, “Messe Zürich” and “Congress Center Basel” labels has thus been handled by a single source since the beginning of the year. The proven marketing team at the Congress Center Basel (CCB), headed by Silvia Decker, has been joined by new colleagues Victoria Klibor and Camilla Bühler. A first milestone of the newly formed team has already been set with the spectacular promotion film for Messe Basel’s Hall 1, which was designed by star architects Herzog & de Meuron. This runs for about two minutes, illustrating the fantastic advantages of the hall in moving images. Videos shot from above, from outside and from the inside too follow on from one another, with sophisticated graphics depicting the key data.

Ideas and flexibility

While the new Sales & Marketing team is currently also dealing with the corona lockdown, it is additionally working much more intensively on the time afterwards. With a wealth of ideas and great flexibility, the team is drawing up the advance planning for forthcoming events and for formats that can still be accommodated on the CCB’s premises during the lockdown – which are in great demand. Protection concepts and occupancy plans have already been compiled for the halls in Basel and Zurich. And, as a goodwill gesture, organisers are currently also being offered rolling planning and additional space for events that have already been booked.
