With the first edition of the health.tech | global summit in Basel, MCH Group, together with bits & pretzels, is setting a strong signal for innovation in the healthcare sector. The platform, now hosted at our venue in Basel, brings together stakeholders from medtech, digital health, research, start-ups and industry every year, with the aim of connecting technological developments, data-driven solutions and new business models in the healthcare ecosystem.
As a leading life sciences hub, Basel offers ideal conditions for such a platform. The high concentration of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, clinical research institutions and technological expertise creates an environment where innovation is not only discussed but actively driven forward. With health.tech, this ecosystem gains an additional stage for exchange, collaboration and market development.
The premiere in Basel brought together around 6,000 participants from the international health and technology sectors. Highlights included high-profile keynotes by Dr. Anthony Fauci and Amal Clooney, who addressed key future topics at the intersection of health, technology and society. Another special format was the “Basel Unlocked Day”, where participants were able to experience the local innovation ecosystem first-hand – from research institutions to leading companies in the life sciences industry.

Looking ahead, we are also pleased to welcome the Endress+Hauser Global Week, which will once again take place at our venue in April. We previously hosted this major corporate event, with 1'500 attendees, at the Messe und Congress Center Basel in 2023, and we are delighted that Endress+Hauser has once again chosen our venue as the location for this important gathering.
The Global Event Week brings together customers, partners, and employees from around the world. It serves as a strategic platform for knowledge transfer, innovation, international networking, and the collective advancement of both the industry and the company group. As a globally active family-owned company headquartered in Reinach (BL), the Basel region is of central importance to Endress+Hauser.
