Our hospitality partner, Wassermann & Company, takes care of all gastronomy services at the Messe and Congress Center Basel. Their team operates directly at the exhibition site and benefits from a 1,200 m² production kitchen – a key advantage for short distances, efficient processes, and reliable supply.

Creative catering concepts

The offerings include apéritifs, flying buffets, standing lunches, multi-course menus, and pop-up formats. Additionally, mobile solutions such as food trucks, sales stands, coffee bars, and ice cream bikes are available. Upon request, Wassermann & Company can develop a tailored overall concept, including crew catering and exclusive options for VIP guests.

Sustainable Implementation

Wassermann & Company collaborates with regional producers and prioritizes fresh, seasonal ingredients. The proximity of the kitchen to the exhibition site minimizes transport distances, reduces CO₂ emissions, and cuts down on packaging materials, supporting responsible gastronomy.

They plan food and beverage services with precision to avoid food waste as much as possible. Should there be any surplus food, Wassermann partners with a local food bank to donate a portion of the meals.
