MesseQuartier Basel
With the MesseQuartier initiative, the MCH Group, together with partners, is creating new meeting spaces on the exhibition grounds. A key element is the Bambusnest, a joint project by Sandoase and the MCH Group. Since July 2024, the historic courtyard of Messe Basel has been brought to life year-round, serving as an urban retreat focused on relaxation, interaction, and gastronomy.
Summer Concept
From July to September, the courtyard transforms into an open summer area with an after-work vibe. White sand, palm trees, and a variety of bar and street food options create a relaxed atmosphere for informal occasions or accompanying event formats. The offerings range from Bao Buns and Pinsas to Bowls, Cocktails, and Smoothies.

Winter Concept
From October to February, a “Winter Market” emerges, featuring mulled wine, seasonal dishes, and electronic music sessions. Gondolas and yurts provide space for small groups and are especially ideal for fondue events. Market stalls and seating areas create a versatile, casual winter backdrop.

Cube Concept Club – Indoor Event Venue
Since December 2024, the Cube Concept Club in Hall 2 has complemented the MesseQuartier offerings. This multifunctional indoor venue is perfect for corporate events, presentations, and musical formats for up to 1,000 guests.
